Carol E. "Elaine" Stilwell

Carol E. “Elaine” Stilwell, 74, of Venice, FL (formerly of the Syracuse, IN area) passed away at 4:00 a.m. on November 30, 2021 at Liana Memory Care in Venice, FL. She was born on December 18, 1946 in Elkhart, IN to Clement & Emmajean (Witmer) Line.

She grew up in Syracuse, IN and was married on April 3, 1982 in Wisconsin to Paul D. Stilwell who survives. She lived in New Paris & Janesville, WI before moving to Venice, FL and worked at Hartung Brothers in Wisconsin & RV World in Nokomis, FL.

She enjoyed life to its fullest. She loved to travel and meeting people along with her dogs.

She is survived by:

Husband – Paul Stilwell of Venice, FL

3 Daughters – Ronda (Joe) Skozen of Iron River, MI, Robin Neeson of Kenosha, WI, and Bobbie (Mark) Ray of Goshen

Son – Ronald (Candy) Olsen of Delavan, WI

3 Step Children – Ronald (Julie) Stilwell, Nadine Stilwell, and Gary (Annette) Stilwell

14 Grand, 12 Gt. Grand, and Several Step Grand & Gt. Grandchildren

4 Sisters – Jackie (Edgar) Pippenger of Warsaw, Lillian (Mitch) Skinner of Goshen, Sonya (John) Yoder of Tyler, TX, and Sarah (Allen) Conner of Milford

Brother – Larry (Pat) Line of Syracuse

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister – Theresa Hopkins, and son in law – Mark Neeson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Memorial services will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Dave Bunyan of the Community Church in Waterford officiating. Burial will be in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
