Carol Lipply, of Warsaw, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center at the age of 78. Born on January 13, 1948, in Dundee, Scotland, she was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Anderson (Welsh). In her younger years, Carol enjoyed spending time with the youth of her church. She also enjoyed the beautiful beaches of Scotland and being in Broughty Ferry.
Carol’s life was focused on her family, her church, and love of Scotland. As a homemaker, Carol invested herself in her children’s many activities. She spent time working in both the Warsaw High School and Biomet cafeterias as well as Kohls. Through those jobs, she made many friends.
Carol’s faith was an anchor throughout her life, and she was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the friendships she had with those in her ward. Carol also loved reading, especially church literature and newspapers. Wherever she traveled, Carol made sure to find and read the local newspaper. She was also very proud of her Scottish ancestry and making trips back to Scotland brought her so much joy.
After initially meeting in a restaurant in Montrose, Scotland, Carol married Ronald Lipply on September 21, 1968. Together, they filled their years with raising a family and supporting their children and grandchildren. Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, Scott Lipply; and daughters, Kari Asay (Jarrad), Debbie Harris (Keith), and Dawn Kjar (Ryan); her grandchildren, Brandon, Chandler, Hayden, Jayden, Talan, Kylen, Alyssa, and Brayden and two great grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her brothers, Malcolm Anderson and Charlie Anderson, and her sister, Isabel Hart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Anderson; and her infant sister, Joyce Elizabeth. Carol will be greatly missed by all who love her.
Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw is entrusted with Carol’s care. Her celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, July 30th at 4:30pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1101 N 175 E Warsaw, IN 46582. To leave a condolence or send flowers, please visit www.TitusFuneralHome.com
