Bonnie Jean Burns, known fondly as Bonnie, was born on August 29, 1944, in Wabash. She passed away into the arms of her awaiting Savior on June 2, 2025 from The Waters of Syracuse. Bonnie lived a life filled with kindness and dedication, touching the lives of many through her warm smile and friendly demeanor.

Bonnie was proud of her work. She began her journey with Cardinal Services in the shop and then went on to become the Salad Bar Attendant at Wendy's Restaurant. Her coworkers and customers alike appreciated her cheerful presence, which made every visit a little brighter.

Bonnie had a passion for reading that was unmatched. Teaching herself to read, she finished more than 500 books throughout her life. Additionally, Bonnie had a strong faith and was formerly a member of Country Bible Church in North Webster, where she found community and support.

She is survived by her sister, Sandy Kuhn & several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Leanord O. and Josephine Burns; her brother, Leanord J. Burns, and her sister, Margaret Goddard.

Bonnie Jean Burns will be remembered for her loving nature, her devotion to family, and her enduring spirit of warmth and friendliness that lit up the lives of those who knew her.
