Robert Plank Jr.

Robert Lee Plank Jr., of North Webster, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026, in his home, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 68. Born on July 24, 1957, in Goshen, he was the son of Robert Sr. and Marilyn Plank (Miller).

A proud graduate of West Noble High School, Bobby embarked on a career in construction, where his talents and hard work made a lasting impact. Known to his family as "Bob the Builder," he had the remarkable ability to fix and improve everything around him, whether it was home renovations, road projects, or airport construction. He even built his home. His expertise led him to working on the maintenance crew and as first mate on the Dixie boat, roles that reflected his commitment and skill.

Bobby's personality was as memorable as his work ethic. He was very helpful to everyone, with a good sense of humor that could brighten anyone’s day. Left-handed yet "always right," he brought warmth and laughter into the lives of those around him. He enjoyed mowing everyone’s yard and was a good neighbor and friend. Bobby also loved spending quality time with his dogs and grand dogs, operating his own “doggy daycare”. Most of all, he treasured moments at home, surrounded by his community, where his presence was a constant source of comfort and joy.

On June 25, 1983, Bobby married Susie, his loving wife and partner. Together, they built a family filled with love and memories. Bobby is survived by his wife, Susie; their children, Kelly Kaase, Justin Plank, Elizabeth Coquillard, Robyn Plank, and Amanda Plank (Conor Whetzel); fifteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Karen Records. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Titus Funeral Home of North Webster is entrusted with caring for Bobby and his family. He will be laid to rest at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.
