Betty Ousley Johnson Combs, age 83 of East Point, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her daughters’ residence in Pierceton, Indiana.
She was born June 5, 1937 in Dock, Kentucky to the late Elzie & Tealie Pitts Ousley.
The wife of William G. Combs, who survives, and the late Austin Aaron Johnson, she was a retired CMA.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Sandra (Johnny) Baldridge of Pierceton, Indiana, Sheila (Steve) Hughes of Martin, Kentucky, Sharon (Norman) Williams of Fries, Virginia and Janet (Tony Jr.) Shepherd of Shiloh, Ohio; 10 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and first husband she was preceded in death by her sons: Austin Aaron Johnson Jr. and Oscar Roy Johnson; siblings: Levi Ousley, Carvel Ousley, Hermal Ousley & Odell Ousley Spears; and two grandchildren: Daniel Blake Hatfield and William Berrierntos. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Visitation will begin Friday, January 8, 2021 at 6pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Martin, Kentucky with Dave Garrett officiating the funeral. Burial will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery.
