Barbara Ann Jensen, 49, of Greenhaus Dr., Syracuse, IN died at 1:40 p.m. on June 13, 2009 in her residence. She was born on July 22, 1959 in Grand Island, NE to Harry D. & Margaret (Smith) Jensen.
She grew up in Butler, IN and formerly lived in Fort Wayne and Cromwell before moving to Syracuse 6 years ago. She attended East Side High School in Butler and received her Dental Assistant Degree from Bryan Institute in Bridgeton, MO. She formerly worked in a dentist office in Fort Wayne as a Dental Assistant and was a member of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
2 Sisters - Hazel White of Syracuse & Mrs. Jeff (Marilyn) Green of New Paris;
1 Brother - Robert "Bob" (wife -Jeanne) Jensen of Butler, IN; &
Several nieces & nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Butler Cemetery, CR 28, Butler, IN with Pastor Brad Cox of the church officiating.
Memorial bequest may be given to the Barbara Jensen Funeral Fund in c/o Owen Family Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
