Barbara Barrett

Barbara Jean Barrett, age 81 of Warsaw, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10 p.m. in Fort Wayne, Indiana at Lutheran Hospital. She was born in Detroit area, the daughter of Thomas M. Barrett and Harriet P. (Fekin) Moseley.

Barbara spent her formative years in Belleville, Michigan and was a 1957 graduate of Belleville High School. She later went on to attend Cleary University. Professionally, she was retired from Sally Beauty Supply though she owned her own business for several years – a clothing store called Designer Connection in Cape Coral, Florida.

Barb, as many knew her, spent many years living in Florida but has made her home in Warsaw since 1988. She enjoyed shopping and sewing projects. She made and repaired dolls and even made the clothing her children wore as they grew up.

Left with memories to cherish, survivors include daughter, Allison Sabatini of Warsaw; son, John Feaster of Warsaw and three grandsons: Jordan Leal, Scott Sabatini and Chris Sabatini. She was preceded in passing by her parents and by siblings: Patricia Swords, Judith Cats, Harriet Hopkins and Thomas Barrett.
