Ann (Tusing) Teeple-DeLong, age 76, of Warsaw, departed this world on January 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy filled with love and joy. She was born to Jacob and Mary Alice Tusing on March 17, 1949. She was a graduate of Warsaw High School in 1967, Ann dedicated her professional life to her community, working at Owen’s Supermarket, she watched many children as she also owned Grammie's Daycare, and worked at Miller's Merry Manor. Her contributions were marked by her unwavering commitment and the warmth she extended to those she served.
Ann had a vibrant spirit that drew people to her. She had a love for the beach, where she could soak up the sun, a passion that brought her many joyful memories during her winters spent in Bradenton, Florida. Her fascination with flamingos was well-known, as was her sweet tooth for ice cream, especially from Dairy Queen. Known for her sense of humor and unique personality, she brought a special light to the lives of her family and friends. Ann thoroughly enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and took great pleasure in decorating her home for various seasons and holidays. Her distinctive "Tusing Shuffle" brought laughter and happiness to gatherings.
She is survived by her three loving children: Lisa (Greg) Grant of Bourbon, Krista (Kevin) Atkins of Warsaw, and Angie (Robert) Dawson of Akron. The love she shared extended to her grandchildren, Lexy (Corey) Richardson, Kaden (Mary) Atkins, and Kinsey Atkins, as well as her great-grandchildren, Keegan Richardson and Delanie Richardson. Also cherishing her memory are her two brothers, Allen (Karen) Tusing and Robert “Bob” (Kay) Tusing, along with several nieces and nephews who will hold her dear in their hearts.
Ann is preceded in death by her first husband, G. Edward Teeple, who passed away in 1999, and her second husband, Lon DeLong, who left us in 2021. Her family also mourns the loss of her grandson, Logan Greene, in 2008, and her parents, who have welcomed her into their eternal embrace.
Her Life Celebration Visitation will be held on January 15, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. Her funeral service will be held the following day on January 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Mike Beezley will be officiating.
