Amanda "Mandy" Akers was born on May 14, 1967. Mandy had a kind heart and was known for being a good listener while also being outspoken. She passed away on May 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.
Throughout her years, Mandy was a hardworking individual. In her younger days, she worked in roofing and landscaping, demonstrating both strength and determination in her pursuits. At home, she enjoyed unwinding by watching crime shows and was particularly fond of Unsolved Mysteries.
Mandy is survived by her three daughters, Amber Bromley, Ashly Ritchie, and Jamie (Josh) Mathias, along with her grandchildren: Angel, Victor, Lillian, Leo, Sophia, Mindy, Kylee, Aliza, Skylar, Mikayla, Jasmyn, Levi, and Jerisee. Additionally, she is remembered by her sisters, Dawn (Leroy) Ditton and Beth Cochran and her brothers, Brent (Renee) Cochran and Sherman (Kristina) Cochran. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tex and Mary Plummer; her brother, Christopher Cochran and her granddaughter, Lillian Bromley. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
