Alice Marshall, age 83, of Warsaw, passed away on November 4, 2024 at Miller's Merry Manor of Warsaw. Arrangements are pending with Titus

Alice E. Marshall, a devoted homemaker and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024, at the age of 83, in the presence of her loving husband, LeRoy Ooley, their bond unyielding even in her final moments. Born on August 18, 1941, in Warsaw, Indiana to Virgil Matheny and Marjorie Warren, Alice brought warmth and kindness into every life she touched.

Alice's selfless nature defined her life, as she dedicated herself entirely to her family, friends, and community. She was not just a mother to her sons; she embraced her children's friends as her own, creating an environment of love and support for all. Having worked at Da-Lite Screens, Alice balanced her career with her most passionate role—taking care of her children. Her home was always a sanctuary filled with laughter, and she profoundly enjoyed hosting family gatherings, using her exceptional cooking skills to bring everyone together. A lover of animals, Alice had a special fondness for gorillas; her nurturing heart extended to caring for many neighborhood strays, showcasing her compassionate personality.

Alice is survived by her husband of 46 years, LeRoy, who stood by her side in life and love; her sons Tim (Deeana), Randy (Kathy), and David (Deb); granddaughters, Anna and Alicia, and her great-granddaughter, Sarah. She is also remembered by her sister, Sharon King, alongside her nieces, Marjorie and Gina. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son Mark in 2017, and her brother-in-law Ben.
