Rev. Alfredo Lozano, age 79, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Warsaw, Indiana. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Alfredo and Luzgarda (Huerta) Lozano. He married Jodi (Jamison) Lozano on October 3, 1987.

Throughout his career, Alfredo distinguished himself as a Journeyman Glazier and Architectural Metal Design, a role in which he applied his meticulous skill and craftsmanship to the architectural industry.  After retiring as a Glazier, he spent the next 20 years developing lasting friendships and bonds with his fellow employees at Spartech Plastics.  He earned the Indiana Labor Man of the Year Award. Working side by side with his Spartech family.  Alongside his profession, he answered a higher calling, becoming an ordained reverend and licensed minister, serving as the Pastor of CTF Christian Fellowship. Alfredo’s commitment to ministering to others extended to his involvement in jail ministry, where he provided spiritual support and guidance to those seeking hope and redemption. His spirit of service went beyond the pulpit and workplace, exemplified by his volunteer work with Combine Community Services.

Alfredo was also a proud member of the United Steel Workers #905 and the Glazier Union #1165, affiliations that reflected both his trade and his dedication to the rights and welfare of working people.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jodi Lozano of Warsaw, Indiana, who stood by his side for 42 years of marriage. Alfredo’s legacy is further carried on through his children: Alvita Lozano of Detroit, Michigan; Alfred Anthony Lozano of Warsaw, and Alma Lozano of Sarasota, FL; Valarie Lozano of Syracuse. He was a devoted Grandfather to Nick Quinones, Leah Quinones, Geoff Franke, Anthony Lozano, Josiah Gall, Miranda Lozano, Emilio Lozano, Heaven Lozano, Jessica Lozano, Alexis Lozano, Michael Lozano, Alexander Lozano, Charlotte Gregory and Rylan Gregory. Alfredo also cherished many beautiful great-grandchildren who brought great joy to his later years.

Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Luzgarda (Huerta) Lozano and his son, Michael Lozano, as well as his brothers and sisters: Reynaldo, Gracie, Tony and Hilda. The memories of his loved ones and his enduring impact on family and community will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Alfredo Lozano’s life was a testament to steadfast faith, skilled craftsmanship, and unwavering service to others. His contributions to his church, community, and family reflect a legacy of compassion and commitment that will continue to inspire. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he touched. The family is planning a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
