Talitha Day Fair, Ph.D., went on to be with Jesus from her Warsaw home on Wednesday, February 21st at 5:00 a.m. She had been struggling with health issues for several years.

Talitha was born in Indianapolis, IN to Joy (Day) and Ellis Fair. She spent a few childhood years with them in other states; Dr. Fair considered herself to be a Warsaw native, however. She went on to earn a doctorate in psychology at Andrews University in 1987. In 1977, she and concerned friends founded Selah Christian Center, Inc., an alternative counseling and educational program which served children and adults in need of individualized assistance. She continued to work as a psychologist and director of Selah until 2013.

Talitha Fair was an active member of several Warsaw-area churches during her life and was involved at St. Anne's Episcopal Church at the time of her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, many friends and thousands whom she helped throughout her career.

Talitha will be laid to rest in Warsaw's Oakwood Cemetery during a graveside service on Friday, February 23; the 2 p.m. service will be officiated by Pastor Dan Litfin. Her life will be further celebrated at Titus Funeral Home on Saturday, March 3rd at 11 a.m.
