Obituary for Stella Ward

Stella Mae Ward, age 42, passed away unexpectedly at 11:57 a.m. in Warsaw’s Kosciusko Community Hospital on Monday, October 8, 2018.

Born in Paintsville, KY, Stella spent most of her young life in Savannah, TN before moving to Warsaw more than twenty years ago. She was the daughter of Brenda (Dill) Ward and mother to three young sons.

Stella was a helpful, kind person. She had a good sense of humor and was very social. Known for her bubbly personality, she was a devoted, loving mother who always enjoyed time spent with her family. She was a fan of Green Bay Packers football and liked action films, horror films and country music.

Surviving Stella are sons: Levi Worl, Kadin Ward and Beau Ward – all of Warsaw; sister Nova (David) Brettell of Warsaw; significant other, Richard Stengel, Jr. of Milford and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Brenda Ward, her mother, and Clyde Ward, who was like a father, in addition to a nephew.

Friends may join family for visitation at Titus Funeral Home¸ 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, on Monday, October 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Roy Blake, will follow in the funeral home chapel, beginning at 4 p.m.
