Obituary

Sharon Joan McFeeley, age 76 of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away quietly in her family’s Tippecanoe, Indiana home on Sunday, August 16, 2020.

Sherry, as many knew her, was born in Fort Wayne on October 9, 1943. She was the daughter of the late William R. Shuler and Lavina M. (Pelz) Shuler. She was a 1962 graduate of Fort Wayne’s South Side High School and moved to South Carolina in 1977.

A kind and fun-loving woman, Sherry found comfort and guidance in her faith. She was longtime member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Lexington. She was also a member of the Silver Sneakers Club, the Misfits Bowling League and loved to play Bunko with friends. Those that knew Sherry best remember her friendly smile and how much she enjoyed Shag dancing at Myrtle Beach. Professionally, she worked in the meat department for BI-LO grocery, retiring in 2011.

Those who survive include her sister, Karlene Fredel of Tippecanoe, IN; nephew, Steven (Brandi) Fredel and niece, Lisa (Todd Johnson) Tester of Fort Wayne. Also surviving are several great-nieces and great-nephews: Lindsay Aker, Cierra Potts, Taylor Jetmore, Steven Fredel, II, Michael Tester and Kaytlen (Mark Till) Tester and two great-great-nieces, Stella and Mya. She was preceded in passing by her parents.

Friends may join the family in Warsaw’s Oakwood Cemetery where a service of committal will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 2 p.m. Titus Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Memorial condolences may be left for the family at www.TitusFuneralHome.com. Memorial gifts may be directed towards Sherry’s final expenses. Gifts by mail may be sent to Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
