Robert E. "Bobby" Sherrard, Jr., 42, was called to his final resting place Friday, November 8, 2013 at 4:04 PM in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana with his family by his side.
Bobby was born January 10, 1971 in Dalton, Georgia to Robert E. and Diane (Buhrmaster) Sherrard, Sr.
He attended Whitko High School, South Whitley, Indiana. He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County. And on July 6, 2013 in Silver Lake, Indiana, Bobby married his beloved Dawn Yates.
Bobby was a member of the North Webster Sons of the American Legion. He was a die hard Chicago Cubs fan and Miami Dolphins fan. He was an avid collector of baseball cards. Bobby loved the 7/Eleven which contributed to his 7/Eleven collectibles. Most of all Bobby, with his heart of gold, was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother.
Those left with memories to treasure is his wife: Dawn Sherrard, Pierceton; 2 sons and a daughter: Nathan Sherrard, Noah Sherrard and Natalie Sherrard - all of Milford, Indiana; step children: Dylan Miller and Amanda Miller - both of Pierceton; mother and step father: Diane and Hoyt Byrum of Melbourne, Florida; 3 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law: Elizabeth Sherrard, Melbourne; Amy and William Alberding, Warsaw; and Megan and Neil Hodges, Syracuse, Indiana; along with nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: Robert E. Sherrard, Sr. (September 27, 1989); Paternal Grandparents: James E. and Margaret Sherrard; Maternal Grandparents: Frank, Norma and Fran Buhrmaster; and an infant niece: Victoria L. Alberding, August 19, 1994.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. That information will be posted to this obituary when it becomes available..
